Registered Marriage Celebrant

I love being a celebrant and consider it to be a privilege to share in the most important moments of people’s lives. I was registered as a Marriage Celebrant since 1995 and have conducted hundreds of weddings and other ceremonies since that time. No matter how big or how small, no matter if the ceremony is at home, on the beach, at a winery, a chapel, reception centre or some other place, every ceremony is important to me.

If you are looking for a celebrant it is because you want to celebrate a meaningful event in your life – be it a wedding, a baby naming, a life connection ceremony or a renewal of vows. Funerals and pet memorials are also times for ceremonies which will help in the grieving process and which will be long remembered.

I work from the premise that it is your ceremony: it belongs to you and should reflect your wishes, personalities, backgrounds and culture. With a professional background in Education and counselling and a special interest in language, literature and music, I am able to use my understanding, skills and knowledge to assist you in creating the most meaningful and memorable ceremony. And I do encourage you to include others in the ceremony if that is important to you.

My services include at least two interviews if you desire them and unlimited phone consultation. I complete all legal documentation and register the Marriage with the Registrar of Births Deaths and Marriages. You are also presented with a presentation copy of your ceremony and a marriage certificate.

I am happy to travel to most areas in Victoria for your wedding ceremony including, the Mornington Peninsula, Bayside, Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges and anywhere in Melbourne.
